Every single bottling is therefore an incredible rarity. The GLENLIVET Private Collection Single Malt Scotch 1954 matures for 64 years in Refill Sherry Butt. Distilled: 1954 Bottled: 2018 Tasting notes: Colour: antique gold. Nose: sweet, hints of brown sugar, toffee apples, spices, hints of cinnamon, aniseed, fruit jam, vanilla, freshly roasted coffee beans, orange zest. Taste: Silky, smooth, full-bodied, syrupy, cooked fruit, rum raisins, notes of dark chocolate, sherry aromas, sweet cane sugar, hints of walnuts. Finish: Long lasting, black peppercorns, oak aromas.
